Becker Events
Every year, Becker hosts several annual events where friends and family come together to celebrate and share with our Becker community the wonderful milestones our children are experiencing!
Fall Fest
Rock out in your fave ’80s gear and join us for Fall Fest at Becker! A FREE event Saturday, November 13th from 1pm – 4pm. in the Becker backyard, Fall Fest includes carnival games, face painting, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, refreshments, lots of 80’s music, and a talent show from our rad Becker students! All attendees should mask up as all AISD campuses continue to require masks on school property, and the school is asking that families consider staggering arrivals to keep the crowd spread out, families with last names A-M from 1pm to 2:30pm and families with last names N-Z from 2:30pm to 4pm.

Backyard Bash

Garden Gala & Make-O-Rama
Come see what we’re growing! Your students work hard all year to nurture, cultivate and learn from the garden plots, so when it’s time to harvest, it’s time to celebrate! Held in late spring, this event features salsa competitions, garden expos, tastings, maker stations and a ‘green’ runway. Paired with the Garden Gala, our Maker Fair gives students the opportunity to showcase their ingenuity with homemade objects, projects and art! MLK, Jr. March
Every year Becker families gather for a pancake breakfast at the school and then take buses to the cities annual MLK, Jr. march. It brings our wonderful community together with our larger city community for a morning of active engagement. Details are usually released after winter break.
