Becker Events

At Becker, we know how to let loose! Every year, Becker hosts several annual events where friends and family come together to celebrate and share with our Becker community the wonderful milestones our children are experiencing!

Fall Festita

Fall Festita is Saturday, Nov. 14 from 2 – 4pm. Families are invited to come by any time between 2p and 3:30p to pick up a map at the front of the school and then safely explore the neighborhood around the school to see what treasures can be discovered. The route may take about 30 minutes. Everyone will need to wear a mask and stay with their family. This will be an opportunity to hear music, enjoy a few interactive activities, and wave to friends and teachers, staying socially distanced. There will not be any refreshments so bring your own water bottle. If you are not comfortable with walking around, and prefer to stay in your car, you can drive through most of the route. Click here on or before November 12th to RSVP, order shirts, read/agree to the safety rules, and find out more information. Questions? Email  Click here for Silent Auction.

Join us for Becker Elementary’s most highly‐anticipated all‐ages dance party of the year!  Lights, DJs, Dancing,  Guest Dancers and more. Usually in March, this event is free for the whole community! Thanks to PTA, our beloved teachers and amazing families for making Pachanga a fantastic event every year!  For more information, email

Backyard Bash

Join fellow students and families as we celebrate the end of the school year with the ultimate picnic!  Backyard Bash is held every year at the end of the last day of school.  Live music, games and lots of friends!  For more information, email

Garden Gala & Make-O-Rama

Come see what we’re growing! Your students work hard all year to nurture, cultivate and learn from the garden plots, so when it’s time to harvest, it’s time to celebrate! Held in late spring, this event features salsa competitions, garden expos, tastings, maker stations and a ‘green’ runway. Paired with the Garden Gala, our Maker Fair gives students the opportunity to showcase their ingenuity with homemade objects, projects and art!  For more information, visit

MLK, Jr.  March

Every year Becker families gather for a pancake breakfast at the school and then take buses to the cities annual MLK, Jr. march.  It brings our wonderful community together with our larger city community for a morning of active engagement.  Details are usually released after winter break.
